Same-Day Flower Delivery in Los Angeles: How It Actually Works

What time you need to call, how LA traffic shapes the route, and how to make sure the flowers land the same afternoon.

Same-day delivery in Los Angeles is mostly a question of timing and geography. We design every arrangement by hand the morning it goes out, then build a route around the addresses we have. The earlier your order joins that route, the earlier it arrives.

We're a delivery-only studio, so there's no shop to stop into — and delivery is always free, anywhere in our Los Angeles service area.

Call early — the route is built in the morning

We take orders by phone from 8 AM to 5 PM, seven days a week. Orders placed in the morning are the safest bet for same-day arrival; afternoon calls depend on where the recipient is relative to the day's route.

If we can't make it the same day, we'll tell you on the call rather than promise a window we can't hold.

Traffic is part of the plan

Downtown, Hollywood and the Westside all behave differently at 4 PM than they do at 10 AM. Deliveries heading toward the 405 or through Downtown are scheduled earlier in the day when we can.

For a delivery that has to land at a specific moment — a birthday lunch, a hospital discharge, a service — tell us the deadline when you call and we'll plan backward from it.

What to have ready when you call

The recipient's full address including unit, floor or department; a phone number for them; the occasion; your card message; and any color or flower preferences. That's usually a three-minute call.

For offices, hospitals and hotels, add the business name and any front-desk instructions — it's the difference between a delivery that lands and one that comes back.

If nobody's home

Our driver will leave the arrangement in a safe, shaded spot when it's reasonable to do so, or arrange a re-delivery. Los Angeles afternoons get hot, so shade matters more here than in most cities.
